We’re big believers in proactive nutrition and it starts with a diet that’s based on NRC guidelines.
There have been many changes, including feeding philosophies over the last 20+ years that Monica has been formulating diets and even more have occurred since Jody joined her. Although the internet can provide useful information, social media has made it more difficult to distinguish facts from hype. thus, our mission has expanded a bit.
How does this recipe differ from our personalized recipes?
Personalized recipes are the optimal proactive approach as each diet plan is tailored to your unique dog and ingredients are tailored to what you can access consistently and affordably. Custom diets take into account current and optimal body weight, age, breed predispositions, lifestyle and known family history.
Our Core Recipes(TM) aren’t personalized but should give you peace of mind that your dog’s diet is balanced and allow you to relax, and enjoy the positive changes from feeding a fresh food diet. Once you are comfortable with the new routine, you always have the option to get a personalized diet.
We believe, and our clients have seen, the power of personalized nutrition but we know that many people with healthy dogs (and multi dog homes) would simply like a recipe to follow, without the need for weekly support. As other Core Diet(TM) plans are released, they can be rotated as your dog tolerates them.
